Vasectomy Reversal Expert

Vasectomy Reversal – The Research

A vasectomy reversal procedure is performed to restore a man’s fertility and the flow of sperm. Typically, the procedure takes about an hour and a half to two hours to complete. Our doctors conduct a test before beginning the surgery. This is to see if sperm are located within the ductus deferens at the original site of vasectomy. Results from this test will indicate whether a vasoepididymostomy or a vasovasostomy procedure is needed.

Vasectomy Reversal – The Procedure

If sperm are found, a vasectomy reversal will be performed to reconnect the ductus deferens. Doing this will facilitate natural flow of sperm. When sperm are not found in the ductus deferens at the site of vasectomy, a blockage has occurred.

As an expert center in the complex field of personalized urology and robotics, the PUR Clinic is a resource for women and men who would like to learn and know more about fertility after vasectomy. Are you are looking for a urologist who specializes in vasectomy reversal in Central Florida? Are you just seeking information at the beginning of your journey? The PUR Clinic offers everything you want to know.

Vasectomy Reversal – The Details

We specialize in performing vasectomy reversal, commonly referred to as microsurgical vavasostomy. Having performed numerous microscopic infertility procedures, we take great pride in our remarkable success rates. We are meticulous in our surgical techniques, maximizing our visualization with a high-power operating, state-of-the-art microscope. Our experts utilize microscopic sutures, which are about one-third the radius of a human hair, to create a multi-layered reconnection of the vas deferens to maximize potency.

All procedures are done in our accredited surgery facility located in Clermont, FL. Certified anesthesiologists are involved in each procedure to ensure patients enjoy total comfort throughout the procedure.
