Men prefer to keep quiet when it comes to their health. In other words, they do not seek professional help from their doctors or advice from their friends. Instead, they often deal with these concerns on their own. Speaking up is important because handling it on your own is next to impossible. You need someone who understands the underlying problems and how to deal with them. At PUR Clinic, we focus on offering personalized services that focus on men’s health including: infertility issues, vasectomy reversals, testicular pains, or any other urology issue.
PUR Clinic Supports the Drive for Men’s Health
In addition to helping men with their health issues, PUR Clinic is also a Drive For Men’s Health supporter. Drive for Men’s Health is an event that creates awareness for health issues affecting men. It urges them to speak freely about their issues, encouraging them to talk to their doctors, friends, and partners. Remember, PUR Clinic values your comfort when receiving a regular checkup or going through a urology procedure. That is why we proudly support the Drive for Men’s Health and its cause.
What the Event Entails
This year’s event features a cross-country adventure to help celebrate Men’s Health Week. This cross-country activity runs from June 3 to June 10, and the drive will cover 3,000 miles with stops along the way. At these stops the participants will be able to speak to men who are supporting the cause and/or have health issues. The proceeds from the event will support future innovators as they conduct research on men’s health. The proceeds will also go to offering scholarships to innovators at the Florida Polytechnic University.
The Aim of the Event
Although men’s health issues are as important as those of women, people rarely talk about them. This event will mobilize crowds along the way and will help them understand these problems. It will also help them understand why it is so important for them to talk about such issues freely. Men will also be urged to adopt healthy lifestyles. For example, they can change their eating habits and exercise regularly or quit smoking. In summary, the event will change how people view men’s health issues, so be a part of the change this year!
