Imagine being more than 2,000 miles from home…on vacation. Now imagine 3 trips to the Emergency Room at an unfamiliar hospital in an unfamiliar city PLUS becoming an “in-patient” to have kidney stones removed. That was my painful experience earlier this year.
Through this experience, however, I met an incredible doctor, Dr. Jamin Brahmbhatt, M.D. of The PUR Clinic. Dr. Brahmbhatt, Co-Director of the Personalized Urology and Robotics Clinic, took such a personal and professional interest in me that I felt completely at ease with the 3 hospital procedures that were required to break up and remove my debilitating kidney stones.
Dr. Brahmbhatt made me feel like family. He was so witty and energetic, yet totally professional and competent that I knew I was receiving the best care I could have ever hoped for. Everything was accomplished exactly as Dr. Brohmbhatt explained, and at the end of the nearly 2 week ordeal I was able to make the 2,000 mile drive back home pain free. A personal follow-up call from Dr. Brahmbhatt to my home, just to make sure I was OK, was something I won’t forget.
I am so thankful for the exceptional care I received in Clermont, Florida from South Lake Hospital, The PUR Clinic, and Dr. Brahmbhatt. They are the BEST.
