Doctor to Discuss Cross-Country Drive at Upcoming Health Academy Conference – April 13, 2016
Dr. Jamin Brahmbhatt plans to discuss his upcoming Drive for Men’s Heath at the Heath Academy Conference, scheduled to take place in the nation’s capital starting on April 20. He will specifically address how the cross-country drive in June will function as a public relations service in highlighting the need for men to take care of their health.
Health Academy Conference
Conducted annually, the Heath Academy Conference is sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America to help those in the medical industry and related fields improve their communication strategies. At the 2016 event, Brahmbhatt will discuss how he intends to attract men by making the drive in one of today’s hottest cars, the electric-powered Tesla Model S.
Brahmbhatt will be joined in the Drive for Men’s Heath by fellow urologist Sijo Parekattil. The trip will start on June 9 on Clermont, Fla., and stop eight times along the way at such cities as Atlanta, Washington, Philadelphia, New York and Chicago. It is scheduled to end on June 18 in Los Angeles. At each city and at other locations along the way, the doctors will conduct lectures on the need for men to discuss their health with family members and medical specialists.
At the conference, Brahambhatt will discuss the importance of public relations in health education matters. Specific to the Drive for Men’s Heath, a study commissioned by his clinic showed that while eight in 10 men could name the make and model of their first car, only half could remember the last time they received medical care. Helping those in the field understand the importance of such programs is a vital part of the Heath Academy Conference.
